A Frisk Holiday Tradition

One of our family’s favorite things to do after Thanksgiving (hint – it’s not shopping) is to go Christmas Tree Hunting (that’s what we call it anyway)! It’s a great way to get out into nature after a big Thanksgiving meal. It’s so much fun to spend time in the outdoors with your kids, parents, or whoever might be on the adventure with you, and have great conversations you may have missed around the Thanksgiving table. We always bring snacks, (hot cocoa is a must), a football or Frisbee, or even a hammock which are especially popular with the kids.

    The Perfect Tree?

I admit that sometimes it takes a little time to find the perfect tree. You think you’ve found it, and then when you walk around and inspect it, you find it’s not the right one after all. The good news is that there are so many trees in the forest that I’m sure to find a perfect one. While it might not be perfect to you, it will be perfect for us and our needs.

I find that looking for houses is much the same way. I’ll take my clients to show them a home, and sometimes, they get this ‘oh yeah’ moment, and other times….not so much. My clients will find that although it might look good from the photos when I take them to a house, we find that it’s not quite ‘the one”. And that’s OK because there is a home out there that will be the right one for them.
Buying a home is the single biggest purchase you will make, and sometimes it will take some time to find the right one. Good news is that I am committed to being there with my clients, every step of the way, to make sure they have the right home to put their ‘perfect’ Christmas tree!
